Painter Anca Seel's new exhibition of paintings and
photographs, „Frontieres“, will take place at „Péristyle de
l'Hôtel-de-Ville“ in Neuchâtel. The exhibition can be visited from the 31st
of March until the 19th of April, between 9:00 and 19:30.

Mr. Doru Romulus Costea, the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of
Romania at the UN is delighted to invite you at the conference "La
Roumanie: Légendes, traditions et coutumes du printemps en mots et en

the Woman's Day and will be followed by a reception, Monday, the 1st

DRS 1 will broadcast an one hour show about Romania (on 28th of December), which includes a portrait of the writer Catalin Florescu. The show is called Menschen Horizonte and will begin at 14:00.
The painter Lucian Popescu will exhibit 12 paintings at Osare Gallery in Luzern (Zürichstrasse 28, tel. 041 410 06 84). The exhibition will be opened between 15th December 2003 and 15th January 2004.
The painter Monica Vaupre is exhibiting her works in the Tourism Office of Divonne les Bains (FR) - near Geneva - between 19th and 29th November 2003. The opening takes place on Wednesday, 19th November 2003, at 18:00.
During the presentation of the candidate countries to join the European Union, on Thursday 13th November 2003, at 18:00, will take place the opening of the Exhibition of Romanian traditional costumes and architecture set up by the Romanian photographer Stefan Gheorghiu. The opening will be followed by a series of documentary movies on Romania under the title: „Romania, a sentimental dictionary“. Location: Centre Media, Schulwarte 2, Helvetiaplatz 2, Bern.
On Sunday, 2nd November 2003, at 17:00, a concert of traditional Romanian music of the
Nicolae Pârvu Orchestra will take place at the Granchamp Theater in Gland (VD).
