Job Description
Within the Information Management team of the Corporate Services Division, you report directly to the Global Infrastructure IT Director. 


In your core mission, you will: 

·         provide technical support to the IT community for projects, implementation and management of existing and new technologies,

·         oversee the day to day management of Lausanne site operations

·         Manage multiple ongoing and parallel projects, tracking to priorities and shifting tactical technology changes,

·         coach and lead the technical staff to meet company objectives,

·         collaborate with the Business Application Managers

·         manage project implementation and Technical Lead.


Specially, you will be responsible for:

·         making sure that service desk ticket requests are resolved within SLAs

·         checking monitoring tools for alerts and open incidents as needed

·         server, desktop and client support, system administration and troubleshooting various IT issues

·         Windows set-up and support for Windows 2003 Server/VMWare and XP

·         system deployment using various technologies

·         lead on all Lausanne local office IT projects.

·         backup Management and replication to DRP site.

·         internal phone system management

·         working closely with clients providing support, training, and documentation to enhance their productivity

·         support of Microsoft Office applications, and various other packages

·         support remote clients via phone and remote desktop software

·         working with a Regional and Global IT Team on various projects

IT University degree (BA/BS or equivalent), Microsoft certification or equivalent experience,

3 to 5 years experience in similar IT positions

Fluent in French and in English mandatory (oral and written).

Your experience provides you with the following knowledge and expertises:
·         familiar with Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows XP/Windows7, Cisco VPN, Network Printing
·         familiar with TCP/IP, Active Directory, Exchange 2003, DHCP, DNS, Anti-Virus, Backup Software, Wifi, MS Office, Video Conferencing.
·         familiar with WIFI and VOIP installations and support
·         knowledge and experience in installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software applications in a global LAN/WAN environment
·         experience supporting varied systems and remote clients
·         vendor management

In terms of behavioral skills, you possess:
·         superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to details,
·         good organization, communication, and service oriented skills,
·         a self-starter approach. You can work both independently and as a strong team player,
·         good communication skills with the ability to work in a complex multicultural environment,
·         an experience working in a professional global business environment.
